An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bright and innovative Teacher of Spanish to join our dynamic and ambitious Languages team at Ashmole Academy. Our department consists of 10 dedicated teachers who work collaboratively under the leadership of experienced Heads of Department, fostering a strong team spirit and a shared commitment to excellence.
Languages are an integral part of our curriculum and highly valued by our school community. We are committed to equipping students with the linguistic skills and cultural understanding they need to succeed in life. We encourage our students to appreciate diversity and develop a love for language learning that extends beyond the classroom.
The Spanish department consistently delivers excellent results, with 90% of students achieving Grades 9-4 at GCSE. Spanish is one of the most popular subjects at the school, with over 100 students choosing it at GCSE and many continuing to A-Level and beyond. We are proud to offer enriching opportunities, including trips to Spain, such as our recent Year 9 visit to Andalucía.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to inspire the next generation of linguists in a thriving and supportive department.
